File Setup Guidelines
Keystone Displays accepts Adobe Design Software (PC or MAC format) CS5 or lower. Review details below for submitting your native Adobe Illustrator (.ai), Photoshop (.psd) or InDesign (.indd) files for production.
note: We cannot print files from QuarkXPress, Macromedia FreeHand, Corel Draw or any Microsoft Office programs.
Files submitted in those formats will require additional preflight time.

things to Keep in Mind
- BLEED: Your project may require bleed. Rollable, detachable graphics do not. When mounting to a rigid substrate, a minimum of .25” on all sides is needed. Some projects require use of a template. Specific GRAPHIC TEMPLATE/SPECIFICATIONS are available for download on our RESOURCES page.
- QUESTIONABLE ART: Vectored art is preferred for all logos. Review our “Raster verses Vector” sheet for further explanation, available on our RESOURCES page.
note: Raster images that do not meet the minimum of 100dpi at final size may be eligible to be processed through our program “Perfect Resize” for fractilization. - GRADIENTS: Gradients and large areas of flat color should be created in Photoshop, adding 1% - 2% “Gaussian” Noise.
- CORRECTIONS: It is the responsibility of the client to spell check all text prior to being submitted. If edits/changes/corrections are needed, additional preflight time may be applied. If text changes are required, an editable format with fonts may need to be submitted.
- PROOFING PROCESS: A low resolution .PDF proof will be emailed along with an approval form prior to production. Color proofs are available only upon request and may require an additional fee.
- COLOR MATCHING: Printing of Pantone colors, in a large format environment, is an interpretation of the Pantone color using CMYK builds. Any specific Pantone colors must have coated swatches applied to the art in the production file. Supply any printed samples for matching when available. We cannot replicate fluorescent, neon or metallic colors.
